Systems Officer and Project Coordinator
This position provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to gain experience and knowledge in the field of system development and administration.
Hokkaido Tracks Management is the premier property management company in Niseko-Hirafu with 145 condominiums and houses in the central village under management. Niseko-Hirafu is a rapidly growing international ski resort as a result of its reliable powder snow, Japanese food and cultural experiences.
Primary Duties:
• Project leader for development of new business system. This will include acting as a central point of contact between the software development contractor and Hokkaido Tracks Management, coordinating and driving input from various sections inside HTM, user testing, documentation and staff training.
• Maintenance and administration of the current Property Management System, including fault reporting, user and data maintenance and integrity testing.
• Backup of the System Administrator when he is absent from the office.
Requirements
• Minimum of two years business experience
• Proven interest in IT
• Should be highly organised, and have experience in the creation and implementation of business systems and processes.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Ability to meet targets within specific timescales
• Ability to retain clear focus on goal
• Ability to take responsibility for outcomes
Desirable
• Business level Japanese
• Basic Windows system administration (Windows 2000/2003) and networking skills; including user admin, troubleshooting OS and MS Office problems, and backup system
• Experience with Crystal Reports
Start Date: Immediate
Salary Range: ¥3.4 to 4.5 million depending on skills and experience (a component of salary will be performance based)
Leave: 22 paid days leave per annum (including public holidays)
