Want to be a part of the growing Ski Industry of Hokkaido? Skijapan Travel is one of the largest and most renowned tour companies operating in the Niseko Ski-fields. With a core focus on offering the best holiday option and providing excellent customer service. Ideally we are looking for qualified and experienced Travel Agents OR will train the right person to join our year-round Reservations team.
Successful candidates will have excellent administrative skills, a keen eye for detail and be a quick learner. Duties will include responding to both direct and wholesaler inquiries regarding booking holidays to the Japanese ski-fields. All SkijJapan Travel customers are English speaking from all over the world, requiring cultural awareness and sensitivity to the different needs.
This is a target driven position, where finding the balance between sales and customer service is of utmost priority. We are looking for applicants with the following demonstrated skills:
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills;
- Japanese/Cantonese/Mandarin language skills an advantage but not necessary;
- Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite;
- Minimum typing speed of 40wpm;
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure;
Successful candidates will need to be prepared to re-locate to Hokkaido and commit to a minimum of 12 months employment. You will need to be a quick pro-active learner, as you will hit the ground running.
